Word on the STR-EATS…It’s Competition Time!

Calling all chefs...the hunt is on for the most creative and innovative recipes on the block in the B&I StrEATfood awards 2017
An official sponsor to the event, Tuesday 28th March is set to be an exciting date on the Major Calendar, as we get fired up to taste some serious #majorecipes in the 2017 B&I StrEATfood Awards.  Open to all caterers, chefs, food/menu development chefs, unit managers, contract caterers and self-managed staff restaurants, armed with a two-zone induction hob and an electric griddle, shortlisted entrants of this annual culinary competition will be challenged to bring the flavour and cook up their most strEAT-worthy signature dishes.  To see who will be crowned at the top of the block, dishes will then be put to the taste test, set before a panel of top industry experts, including B&I Catering Magazine’s editor, Henry Norman. 

There are three awards up for grabs: the Best Technical Street Food Dish, Best Signature Street Food Dish and the overall B&I Catering Street Food Winner, who receives a not too shabby prize of £1000!
